Damien Center

We have been HIV/ AIDS advocates since the moment we learned of the virus.  We grew up in Indiana and in the Chicago-land area.  There, we were strong advocates and proud to share our voices with those living with HIV/ AIDS and their families.  We have been residents of Indianapolis now for 10 years. While continuing to support the place where our inspiration originated and grew, we were compelled to contact our local HIV/ AIDS treatment center, the Damien Center. This very phone call was a life-changing moment.
When we arrived at the Damien Center, we were overwhelmed with the kindness of the people, beauty of the Center and walls flowing with pictures and stories from those in which the virus has taken.  There is an undeniable warmth, a universal love and a village of friendly faces just waiting to welcome you.  Patients and friends of the Damien Center are treated like family with compassion and dignity.  When we left, we knew we were home. 
We are proud, grateful and honored to be accepted as a partner and are dedicated to increasing education, prevention and awareness. We will not stop til there is a cure.
